Barossa Valley
Bruno & George, a premium winery specialising in single vineyard sites across the Barossa and Eden Valley, is the culmination of three lifelong friends’ passion for winemaking. Bruce ‘Bruno’ Blackwell ‘grew up’ in the cellars of St. Hallet with winemaker father and Baron of Barossa, Stuart Blackwell; Josh ‘George’ Norman is a seventh-generation winemaker whose family legacy dates back to 1851; while Christian Roudiger’s family settled in Buchfelde, Riverside in 1849.
The trio embarked on winemaking adventures in their 20s, experiencing vintages in the Barossa, before weaving through New Zealand, the US, South Africa, South America and Europe. Now in their 40s, Bruce, Josh and Christian combine their vast global experience with a deep respect for their Barossa roots.
Today, Bruno & George produce exciting, textured, traditional handmade wines that showcase the unique terroir of the Barossa and Eden Valley.
