allier oak barrels.
Patriarch Giancarlo Begnoni together with son Luciano, who own Santa Sofia employ a “strategy of
excellence” and make classic Valpolicella and Soave as well as Bardolino and Custoza wines.
A second label, Antichello, boasts eminently drinkable Valpolicella, Soave, Pinot Grigio and
Montepulciano at attractive prices.
